The last year and a half have been incredibly challenging as we dealt with a global pandemic. My goal is to get all kids back in school, safely, to maximize in-person learning and much-need social connections with friends and teachers.
100% Great Neighborhood Schools for Every Family
A top priority is to ensure that every family in the district has the choice to attend a great neighborhood school. All kids deserve equitable access to well-resourced schools and I want families to have confidence in the schools right in their own neighborhoods.

For over 20 years, I’ve studied the link between strong social connectedness and outcomes. With strong social support, kids and families thrive. I’m committed to building a system of resources to support out kids, through partnerships across sectors.
